my new favorite

This is a beautiful colorway by Three Irish Girls. It's called Meg and it's dyes onto an organic merino. This yarn is soft like butter, I sware it's going to melt in my hands...lol. Of corse this is for a custom but oh how I wish I had a little girl to put it on. The colors are seriously amazing!!!

It's been a while

Oct. was a crazy a month for us. We celebrated or wedding by having a recepetion with family and friends (we eloped in may), our little girl turned 6, classroom party's, and halloween. We had a ton of fun but it was a lot to fit into one month. All the while I was busy knitting ....here's a few recent customs I completed this month

When it rains it pours

Yesterday while changing Logan I noticed some blood in his diaper and on the tip of his penis. I of course rushed him in to be seen. They sent us home with a bag and asked us to bring back a urine sample. We got the sample from him and dropped it back off at the office this morning. Nothing like a cup of urine in the fridge all night...lol. He doesn't seem to be in any pain and there hasn't been anymore bleeding. Here's hoping for good news when the test results come in *fingers crossed*

I want my mommy!!!!

I started feeling horribly ill last night. I'm guessing I picked up a stomach bug somewhere along the way and I hope it's over and done with soon :-( I have been slowed down a little today by this illness but I'm still working as much as I can. I will NOT however be washing or shipping any orders until this is out of my system. I can't bring myself to run the risk of sending my germs off to your families. I hope you all understand and I'm really not expecting much a delay from this. maybe a day or 2. I will keep all current orders updated and let you all know if your orders will be delayed at all

Newborn longies

I'll update with pics later but I just had to say newborn size longies may be the cutest thing ever!!!! The last pair I made to stock I ended up doing a free for shipping lotto for, I just wanted to gift them along and share that cuteness :-) Every time I knit a pair I sit and dream about knitting for my own little newborn one day. DebraLyn was not cloth diapered and we didn't start with Logan until he was about 4 months old so I missed that fun :-( Maybe I should reconsider TTC next Oct...I think we NEED a winter baby ;-)

I have to say I am blessed so far with the interest you have all taken in my work from the beginning. Everyone has been wonderful to work with and I am so happy with the current path of this new journey. I decided this would be the best way to get everyone in the loop as to where their order stands or where your name falls on the waiting list.
